On Saturday July 8th a group of classic Jaguars joined a few Corvettes from the Stingray Club and a selection of new cars from Palm Beach Motors for a popular vote car show at the Oakbrook Center in West Palm Beach.

On July 8, 2000, from 9:00AM till 3:30PM the South Florida Jaguar Club and the Stingray Club held a joint car show at the Oakbrook Square Mall in West Palm Beach, FL.

Inspite of a few rain showers, where E-type owner had to run to cover their cars, it was a great show and a good outing. The mall has just be renovated and is an excellent place to show of the Jags.

Our West Palm Beach sponsor, the Palm Beach Motor Cars presented four vehicles, and Aston Martin DB7 convertible, a 2000 S-type Jaguar, a beautiful Land Rover and a Lotus Esprit, covering the entire spectrum of the British Car industry.

Eight of the club members presented their cars and SFJC had three winners in the popular choice voting conducted during the show.

The SFJC winners were: John and Cindy Gommel, E-Type Jag, Rick and Diane Hartwell Mark IX Jaguar tied for first place and Russell Grace won third place for his XK 120.

All of the participants enjoyed FREE great food compliments of the Oakbrook Merchants for the entire day at the Java Cup Coffee Shop.
